PASTA CARBONARA

Pasta Carbonara


Ingredients

  • 500g Spaghetti

  • 300g Pancetta or streaky bacon

  • Onion

  • Pack of mushrooms

  • Pack of eggs

  • Parmesan cheese(grated)

Method

  • Cook 500g spaghetti in boiling water till al dente

  • Fry 300g of pancetta or streaky bacon in a pan 

  • Add half a diced onion and 5/6 sliced mushrooms to the pan and continue to fry

  • In a bowl whisk 2/3 eggs and add 50g grated Parmesan and mix together

  • Add the drained spaghetti to the pancetta, onions and mushrooms then add the egg mix 

  • Keep stirring for 2 mins until the egg is cooked and mixed in well then serve
