Kindness is, and always will be one of the most beautiful and powerful forces for good that exists in the entire world.

Why?

It’s because kindness is love:

Kindness Is Love In Action.

But kindness isn't just about being kind to others, it can be by being kind to yourself too through self love.

What are the health benefits of kindness?

  • Helping others feels good

  • It creates a sense of belonging and reduces isolation

  • It helps to keep things in perspective

  • The more you do for others, the more you do for yourself


To promote this, I asked Louis some questions about how handles kindness:

Do you do anything regularly that shows kindness towards yourself? If so what is it?

I often practice kindness towards myself by speaking to myself with kindness and setting realistic goals for myself.

What act or gesture of kindness have you done recently for someone?

I have practiced kindness towards people recently by being friendly towards them and helping them out with whatever they need help with.

Has anyone done an act or gesture of kindness towards you recently?

People often express kindness towards me by asking me how I am, and being there for me.

What do you do to help manage your mental health?

To help manage my mental health, I try meditating daily, and I run often as well. I also give myself plenty of breaks.
